Aaron Peterson
Spring 2017
Presenter Ferris Media Festival

Aaron Peterson is a mess, but so far things are going pretty well for him. The writer/photographer/filmmaker is based on Michigan's Upper Peninsula where, over the past 16 years he's had the privilege of redefining the region's image through his work in the outdoors and travel industries.

Photography clients have included Pure Michigan, Cabela's and REI; his films have been shown at festivals in 26 countries. In 2016 he launched the Fresh Coast Film Festival in Marquette, Michigan, a groundbreaking event dedicated to showcasing the outdoor films and filmmakers of the Great Lakes region.

He used to work really hard, all the time. Now he has two amazing little kids, and he's trying to work really hard a lot less so he can hang out with them before they start to hate him. His wife is super rad and holds everything together.
