On this episode of Ferris Sports Update, host Rob Bentley chats with Women’s Basketball coach Kurt Westendorp about the team’s recent road matchups with Wayne State and Saginaw Valley State. Coach Westendorp also discusses their next two games at home this weekend against Northern Michigan this coming Thursday, and Michigan Tech the following Saturday. Next, Rob talks with assistant Men’s Basketball coach Josh Fleming about the team’s road games against Wayne State and Saginaw Valley State. Fleming also talks about next weekend’s home series against Northern Michigan on Thursday, noted as an important one by coach Fleming, as well as their matchup with Michigan Tech on Saturday. Lastly, Rob talks with Stepan Pokorny, one of the seniors and captains on the hockey team. Pokorny talks about the team’s road series last weekend at Augustana, which was the first ever matchup between the two teams. Pokorny also discusses the team’s series at home next weekend against Bowling Green, who Pokorny describes as the Bulldogs’ chief rival within the conference. Pokorny also reflects on his time as a Bulldog as the regular season nears it’s end.

Next, Bentley is joined by Andy Bronkema, the head coach of the Men’s Basketball team. The two discuss the games against Davenport and Grand Valley as well as their upcoming games with Wayne State and Saginaw Valley. Lastly, Bentley is joined by associate head coach of Ferris Hockey, Drew Famulak. The two discuss the recent games against Lake Superior State. The two then discuss the upcoming game against Augustana in South Dakota.

Next Rob is joined with Hockey head coach Bob Daniels even though this last weekend, the scores were lopsided where even though we lost Saturdays game it still felt just as close as ever. Lastly, Rob sits down with Women’s head basketball coach Kurt Westendorp, claiming how we currently are doing the best in school history being placed seventh in the country!
